All my life I have been a seeker As a boy I loved mathematics Nobody taught me but I learned arithmetic at an early age My father showed me algebra I loved astronomy and saved my allowance to buy a telescope My parents took me on trips to view the stars In college I studied mathematics and physics I thought I had a plan for my life. But it was incomplete though I knew it not Then I was led to you and everything changed My whole life turned upside down And I have been on a wild ride ever since My heart opened in a way I never knew it could I followed paths I had not even known were there Coming at last to where I am right now Lying awake in the early morning hours Pondering where do I go from here On this mysterious path of mind and heart.
